Go to app.symplr.com/vendor and click Register. Enter your name, company, email address, and create a password.
Fill out your company information, product categories, and the states where you operate. Accurate information speeds up hospital approvals.
Upload your immunization records, background check results, drug screening documentation, and any required training certificates. See the requirements section below for a full list.
Search for Ascension in the Symplr portal and submit access requests to the specific facilities you plan to visit. Each facility reviews requests individually.
Some Ascension facilities require completion of HIPAA training, safety orientation, or infection control modules directly within the Symplr platform.
Each Ascension facility credentialing office reviews your profile and documents. Approval timelines vary by location — typically 5–15 business days.
Keep your immunizations, background check, and drug screen current. Symplr will notify you when renewals are due. Expired credentials will result in access suspension.
Flu shot (seasonal), Hepatitis B series, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB test (2-step PPD or IGRA). COVID-19 vaccination may be required at specific facilities.
A criminal background check is required and must be processed through Symplr's approved background check vendors. Results are reviewed by each facility.
A 10-panel drug screen is typically required. Testing must be conducted at an approved collection site and results submitted through Symplr.
HIPAA privacy and security training must be completed annually. Ascension-specific modules may be available directly within Symplr.
Some Ascension hospitals require completion of a facility-specific safety orientation before granting access. Check with each location's credentialing office.
Proof of general liability insurance may be required depending on your product category and the services you provide within the facility.
