How to Register on Symplr

Complete these steps before your first visit to any Symplr-credentialed facility.

1
Create your Symplr account
Go to vendorcredentialing.symplr.com/register. Enter your name, company, email, and create a password. You'll receive a verification email — click it before proceeding.
2
Complete your vendor profile
Add your company details, specialty/product categories, territory, and contact information. A complete profile speeds up facility approvals.
3
Upload required documents
Upload your credentials in the "My Documents" section. Each document must be current and unexpired. See the checklist below for what's typically required.
4
Add the specific hospital(s) to your profile
Search for each hospital by name in the Symplr portal and submit a credentialing request. Some facilities have additional facility-specific requirements — review them carefully.
5
Wait for approval & print your badge authorization
Approval typically takes 3–10 business days. Once approved, print your Symplr-generated authorization letter or show the mobile credential at check-in.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting

I can't log in to my Symplr account
Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Check that you're at vendorcredentialing.symplr.com — not an older VendorClear URL. If your account is locked after multiple failed attempts, contact Symplr support directly at symplr.com/support.
My documents were rejected
Common rejection reasons: expired document, wrong file format (must be PDF or JPG), illegible scan, or the document doesn't match the facility's specific requirements. Re-upload a corrected version and re-submit — rejections don't affect other facility approvals.
How long does Symplr approval take?
Typically 3–10 business days after all documents are submitted and verified. Some large health systems (like HCA or Ascension) run their own review queue that can add additional time. Submitting complete documents on the first attempt is the fastest path to approval.
I'm already credentialed on another platform — do I need Symplr too?
Yes — each hospital requires its own platform. If your target facility uses Symplr, you must be credentialed through Symplr regardless of other platforms you're on. Use our hospital lookup to confirm which platform each facility requires.
